Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd. is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join welcoming mainstream secondary schools across Birmingham.

You will support students across KS3 and KS4, provide 1:1 and small-group learning support, and assist teachers with lessons and activities in a busy secondary school environment. We welcome candidates with experience in education, strong behaviour management, and a positive, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A positive, patient and proactive attitude
• Confidence supporting secondary-aged students
• A genuine passion for education
• Secondary school experience is desirable, but transferable experience is also welcomed!

Responsibilities

• Supporting students in the classroom across KS3 and KS4
• Providing 1:1 and small-group learning support
• Assisting teachers with lessons and classroom activities
