Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in a secondary school or a commitment to developing your teaching career.
• Excellent classroom management, communication and organisational skills.
• Flexible, proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Genuine passion for education and helping students reach their full potential.
• Clear safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3-5.
• Teach across a variety of secondary subjects depending on experience and needs.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Manage classroom behaviour to maintain high standards.
• Assess progress, provide feedback and adapt teaching to individual needs.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to promote student progress.
• Ensure continuity of learning during staff absences and contribute to the wider school community.
