Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent qualification required.
• Experience teaching in a secondary school.
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to deliver engaging lessons.
• Excellent classroom management and communication.
• Flexible, proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
• Ability to obtain professional references and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons for Key Stages 3–5.
• Teach across a variety of secondary subjects depending on your specialism.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour to maintain high standards of conduct.
• Assess progress, provide feedback and adapt teaching to student needs.
• Follow school safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to promote progress and wellbeing.
• Ensure continuity of learning during staff absences and support the wider school community.
