Job summary

T3AM Education is seeking a Secondary Supply Teacher to deliver engaging, structured lessons across KS3 and KS4 in local schools. You’ll control your schedule, with options for daily supply, long-term placements, or a balanced pattern around other commitments.

Essential: QTS or equivalent (ECTs welcome), Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred), and strong behaviour management with clear communication. We offer competitive daily rates (£150–£180 short-term, £180–£200 long-term) and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Ability to manage behaviour effectively
• Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate
• Flexible and adaptable approach to different school environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Delivering pre-planned lessons in line with curriculum standards and school policies
• Teaching your specialist subject or adapting quickly to general cover classes
• Managing classroom behaviour positively and maintaining a focused learning atmosphere
• Supporting pupil progress, engagement, and overall well-being
• Building strong professional relationships with pupils, departmental staff, and leadership teams
• Adhering strictly to safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
