Job summary

Class Act Teaching Services in the UK is seeking a Secondary Supply Teacher to provide flexible, ongoing cover across secondary settings. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain a positive environment and support pupil learning at short notice.

Ideal candidates hold QTS or an equivalent qualification, with experience in secondary schools, strong classroom and behaviour management, and good communication and organisation.

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects
• Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment
• Follow school behaviour policies and classroom routines
• Support pupils’ learning and engagement during lessons
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and expectations
• Manage classroom behaviour confidently and consistently
• Provide feedback to cover managers or department staff where required
• Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times
