Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a confident Secondary Supply Teacher to join our Harrogate roster. You will cover KS3–KS4 on day-to-day, short-term and long-term basis, delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects and maintaining a positive learning environment.

QTS or equivalent, strong classroom and behaviour management, and flexibility are essential. We offer PAYE payroll, 24/7 consultant support, CPD opportunities and market-leading rates of pay.

Qualifications

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching KS3 and/or KS4 pupils.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confidence covering a variety of secondary subjects.
• Ability to follow and deliver pre-planned lessons.
• A flexible and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day, short-term and long-term cover across KS3/KS4.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain a positive, productive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
