Job summary

Randstad Education invites qualified secondary teachers to join a network of schools in St Ives and surrounding Cambridgeshire for day-to-day and long-term supply roles. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons across subjects, manage classrooms, and adapt to pupil needs while building strong school relationships.

We welcome experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers seeking diverse experience, with DBS checks and reliable, professional conduct as core requirements.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS recognised in the UK.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Professional, punctual and reliable attitude.
• Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS update service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and productive learning environment.
• Adapt instruction for diverse learning needs including SEND.
• Provide concise handover feedback to the regular class teacher.
• For long-term roles: plan, assess, track progress and attend events.
