Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Primary Supply Teacher to cover near Sawtry and surrounding Cambridgeshire areas. You will deliver engaging lessons across EYFS to KS2, adapting to local school needs.

You’ll foster an inclusive classroom, manage behaviour, and differentiate instruction to meet diverse pupil needs. Long-term roles involve planning, assessment, and parent communication within a supportive consultant-led network.

Qualifications

• QTS or recognised equivalent required.
• Solid knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum or EYFS framework.
• Confident classroom management and approachable teaching style.
• Adaptable, proactive mindset to handle different school environments.
• Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS disclosure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Create a positive, safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Differentiate tasks to challenge high achievers and support those who need help.
• Maintain strong classroom management and enforce school behaviour policies.
• For long-term placements, lead planning, assessment and parent communication.
