Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking qualified Maths teachers with QTS for day-to-day and supply positions across Bristol from September 2026. The role covers KS3 and KS4 and offers flexible teaching days that can suit various schedules.

Ideal candidates will have QTS, experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools, and be comfortable managing classrooms while delivering engaging lessons. Competitive daily rates apply.

Qualifications

• Hold UK QTS (or be eligible for QTS).
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
• Available for day-to-day supply across Bristol from September 2026.
• Experience working in UK secondary schools.
• Confident managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons.
• Manage classroom behaviour calmly and consistently.
• Assess and monitor student progress as required.
• Adapt to different schools, year groups and teaching environments.
• Support students’ learning and development.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
