Randstad UK is seeking qualified Secondary Supply Teachers (QTS) for flexible day-to-day roles across Bristol. You will cover a range of subjects for KS3 & KS4 in schools, with no planning or marking duties and a standard 8:30–3:30 schedule.

ECTs are welcome to apply. An enhanced DBS is required or can be obtained, with right to work in the UK and references. Roles offer weekly PAYE pay and local placements within Bristol.

Secondary Supply Teacher (QTS) - Flexible Day-to-Day Roles in Bristol

Are you a qualified secondary teacher looking for flexible work that fits around your life, without the evening burden of planning and marking? We are seeking reliable, engaging Secondary Cover Teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to support a network of secondary schools across Bristol on a day-to-day supply basis. This is an ideal role for experienced teachers wanting to step back from the demands of a permanent timetable, or ECTs keen to gain wide classroom exposure across different school settings.

What the Role Involves:

• Delivering pre-set work across key stages (KS3 and KS4) in a variety of subjects.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies to maintain a positive, productive learning environment.
• Ensuring the safety and safeguarding of all students during the school day.
• Leaving clear, concise handover notes for regular classroom teachers at the end of the day.
• Enjoying a role with no planning, no marking, and no extra-curricular commitments; when the bell rings at 3:30 PM, your workday is complete.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs are welcome to apply).
• Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies.
• High adaptability and confidence stepping into unfamiliar classrooms and subjects.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to process a new one).
• Right to work in the UK and verifiable professional references covering the last two years.

What We Offer:

Daily Rate: £130 - £160/day, paid weekly via PAYE.
