Randstad UK is seeking qualified Secondary Cover Teachers (QTS) for flexible day-to-day supply across Bristol and surrounding areas. This role offers no planning or marking, with a simple 8:30–3:30 schedule and weekly PAYE payments, ideal for applicants seeking balance and variety.

Delivering pre-set work to KS3/KS4, you will manage classrooms, maintain safeguarding, and provide concise handover notes. ECTs welcome, with options for regular local placements and ongoing Bristol guidance.

Secondary Supply Teacher (QTS) - Flexible Day-to-Day Roles in Bristol

What the Role Involves:

• Delivering pre-set work across key stages (KS3 and KS4) in a variety of subjects.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies to maintain a positive, productive learning environment.
• Ensuring the safety and safeguarding of all students during the school day.
• Leaving clear, concise handover notes for regular classroom teachers at the end of the day.
• Enjoying a role with no planning, no marking, and no extra-curricular commitments; when the bell rings at 3:30 PM, your workday is complete.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs are welcome to apply).
• Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies.
• High adaptability and confidence stepping into unfamiliar classrooms and subjects.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to process a new one).

What We Offer:

Daily Rate: £130 - £160/day, paid weekly via PAYE.
