Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking qualified Secondary Cover Teachers with QTS to support a network of secondary schools across Bristol on a day-to-day supply basis. This role offers flexible, planning-free days with no marking or extra-curricular commitments, and opportunities to gain experience across KS3 and KS4 while maintaining a balanced schedule.

ECTs may apply and a DBS update service check is required; successful applicants will be matched to local Bristol schools through our dedicated education

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs are welcome).
• Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies.
• High adaptability and confidence stepping into unfamiliar classrooms and subjects.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to process a new one).
• Right to work in the UK and verifiable professional references covering the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Delivering pre-set work across KS3 and KS4 in a variety of subjects.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensuring the safety and safeguarding of all students during the school day.
• Leaving clear, concise handover notes for regular classroom teachers at the end of the day.

What We Offer:

Daily Rate: £130 - £160/day, paid weekly via PAYE.
