Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to provide ad hoc supply across secondary schools in the PO postcode area. You will supervise classes aged 11-16 in the absence of their regular teachers, ensuring that lessons continue smoothly and pupils remain focused and engaged.

You will work from pre-prepared lesson plans, maintain a positive and structured learning environment, and support students across a variety of subjects.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils.
• Familiarity with supporting SEN learners is advantageous.
• Confidence in managing classrooms and strong communication skills.
• Patience, proactive approach and genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people's learning.

Responsibilities
