Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to provide ad hoc supply support across secondary schools in the PO postcode area. You will supervise classes of students aged 11–16 in the absence of their regular teachers, following pre-prepared lesson plans and helping pupils stay focused and engaged.

The role may involve assisting pupils with SEN, managing behaviour, and providing feedback to teaching staff on engagement and progress.

Qualifications

• Experience with secondary-aged pupils.
• Familiarity with SEN support is advantageous.
• Confident in classroom management and strong communication.
