Teaching Personnel are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to provide ad hoc supply support across secondary schools in the PO postcode area. The ideal candidate will have experience working with secondary-aged pupils, with some familiarity in supporting SEN learners being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils.

• Strong communication and patient, proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes of students aged 11-16 in the absence of regular teachers.
• Follow pre-prepared lesson plans to ensure lessons run smoothly.
• Maintain a positive, structured learning environment and support students across subjects.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement, progress and conduct.
• Assist pupils with SEN to access and participate in lessons where needed.
