Job summary

The Complex Needs Service at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Macclesfield seeks a Structured Clinical Management Practitioner to support adults with complex emotional difficulties. You will deliver SCM-based assessments and interventions, manage a capped caseload, and work closely with clients to develop collaborative formulations in a community setting.

The role emphasizes a recovery-focused approach, with supervision, ongoing professional development, and opportunities

Qualifications

Educated to diploma/degree level and registered with the appropriate professional body.
Professional knowledge acquired through a relevant degree or experience plus relevant experience working with complex cases.
Experience within a recovery-focused philosophy framework and psychosocial interventions.

Responsibilities

To support the implementation of the SCM pathway for clients with complex emotional difficulties, including EUPD.
To manage a capped caseload and deliver interventions aligned to SCM phases.
To work collaboratively with clients to develop a shared understanding and formulation.
To support the delivery of the SCM problem-solving group or similar interventions.
To attend and participate in regular SCM supervision.
To act as a role model to staff, promoting evidence-based interventions.
To advocate for clients and promote collaboration with carers in care planning.
To demonstrate specialist skills to maintain competence and fitness to practice as an SCM practitioner.
