Job summary

St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi-Academy Trust is seeking reliable Casual Catering Staff to cover across Leicester City and Thurmaston schools, providing flexible cover for sickness and operations. This role supports meals being prepared, served, and cleared while upholding high standards of hygiene and customer service.

You will help prepare food, assist with serving, and maintain dining areas, with training provided and a focus on teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of food and beverages.
• Supporting basic cooking activities under supervision.
• Serving and transporting meals.
• Setting up and clearing dining areas, service points, equipment, and furniture.
• Washing crockery, cutlery, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining cleanliness within the kitchen, dining areas, and associated facilities.
• Assisting with the movement and arrangement of dining furniture.
• Undertaking other duties appropriate to the role as directed by the Catering supervisor/Manager
