Job summary

De Lisle College, part of the St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, is seeking a Catering Assistant to support the kitchen team and deliver high-quality food service with strong hygiene and customer care. Duties include preparation, serving, cleaning and stock rotation in a collaborative school setting.

Experience in catering is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude, willingness to learn and good communication with staff and students are highly valued.

• Support with stock rotation and deliveries.
• Follow all food hygiene and health & safety procedures.

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the kitchen team to deliver a high-quality food service, ensuring excellent standards of hygiene and customer service.

• Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas
• Setting up and clearing service areas and dining spaces
• Washing up and maintaining a clean, safe working environment
• Supporting with stock rotation and deliveries
• Following all food hygiene and health & safety procedure
  Previous catering or kitchen experience preferred but is not essential. More important is a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, good communication skills and a williness to work as part of a team.
