Job summary

NCC Staff Bank in Northumberland is seeking Resource Workers to join the Disabled Children’s & Family Support Team on a flexible, bank basis. You will work with disabled children and young people in their homes, in the community and at activity sessions, helping them participate and build confidence.

Shifts range from short 2–3 hour blocks to longer sessions, including weekdays, weekends, mornings and evenings.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children and young people.
• A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People.
• Driving licence and access to a car for countywide delivery.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people in homes, communities, and activity sessions.
• Help participants take part, build confidence and social opportunities.
