Job summary

Wilderness Way in Hexham is seeking compassionate individuals to join the team as bank staff, delivering flexible shifts to support children facing emotional, social, or behavioural challenges. You will provide caring support, participate in activities and education, and act as a positive role model to empower young people.

A full UK manual driving licence and safeguarding awareness are required, with DBS checks conducted as part of safer recruitment.

Qualifications

• A willingness to learn, grow, and complete necessary qualifications.
• A full UK manual driving licence.
• Experience in residential care or working with children facing challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care for children with emotional, social, or behavioural challenges.
• Support personal growth through activities, education, and tailored care.
• Work flexible shifts, including day, night, and sleep-ins, to create a safe and nurturing environment.
