Job summary

Wellspring Academy Trust is seeking a reliable relief assistant caretaker to help keep our learning environments clean, safe and welcoming. The role is casual, zero-hours, and you will be called upon to cover absences or busy periods.

No experience required; full training is provided from day one. You will perform cleaning, simple maintenance and be a key holder when required, with interviews conducted virtually.

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for cleaning specified areas following Trust standards.
• Carrying out caretaking duties including minor DIY repairs as directed.
• Safely storing cleaning equipment after use.
• Proactively reporting faults or shortages to supervisor.
• Participating in health, safety, COSHH and safeguarding training.
