Job summary

CrossReach in Glasgow is seeking relief care workers to support individuals with daily routines, personal care, and independent living. You will help clients access education, volunteering, and social activities, while maintaining accurate records and working with families and professionals.

No prior care experience is required, and you will receive a full induction and ongoing training. PVG checks and SSSC registration are required to ensure safeguarding and professional standards are met.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required.
• Willing to achieve SVQ Level 2/3 per role.
• Must be PVG scheme member and SSSC registered.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily routines and personal care.
• Encourage independence and confidence in everyday life.
• Assist with household tasks and developing life skills.
• Help people access work, education, volunteering and social activities.
• Act as a key worker where appropriate.
