Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS to KS2 in mainstream primary schools, with both daily supply and longer-term opportunities.

You will work closely with teachers, provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN and SEMH, assist with behaviour and emotional regulation, and help pupils participate and grow confidence across different school settings.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in school, childcare, or support setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEN and/or SEMH is highly desirable.
• Positive, patient and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 classrooms.
• Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN and SEMH needs.
• Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.
• Encourage pupil participation, confidence, and independence.
• Support children both inside and outside the classroom environment.
• Adapt to different school settings and year groups.
