Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to support pupils in mainstream primary schools across EYFS to KS2. These roles include daily supply and long-term placements with flexible hours and ongoing assignments.

You will work with class teachers, deliver 1:1 and small group interventions, support behaviour, prepare resources, and contribute to a positive learning environment. DBS check and references required; safeguarding training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a primary school setting.
• Ability to support across different primary age groups (EYFS/KS1/KS2).
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to apply for one.
• References covering recent school-based employment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Providing classroom support to teachers throughout the school day.
• Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions.
• Supporting pupils with varying learning needs.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and participation in lessons.
• Preparing classroom resources and assisting with daily classroom routines.
