Whether you are experienced or transitioning from another role, you will provide 1:1 support, assist class teachers, and help pupils reach their potential. DBS on Update Service encouraged.

Qualifications

• Have experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or similar setting.
• Are confident, adaptable and happy to work in different school environments.
• Have a positive attitude and genuinely enjoy helping children learn and develop.
• Can travel to schools across Gloucester.
• Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Supporting a Reception class one day and Year 6 the next.
• Providing 1:1 support for a child with additional needs.
• Working alongside class teachers to help pupils reach their full potential.
• Covering planned absences or stepping in to support schools at short notice.
• Building relationships with local schools that could lead to long-term or permanent opportunities.
