Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is seeking a Primary Teacher to join the Plymouth Cast Trust Bank, delivering engaging lessons across primary years and covering for absent teachers.

You will follow school policies, manage classrooms, adapt to diverse needs including SEN, and work with staff to ensure continuity of learning. DBS disclosure is required; weekly pay and supportive partnership management are provided.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Previous experience in education is preferred but not essential.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage and motivate students.
• Flexibility, resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, colleagues and parents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in line with the school curriculum and policies.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies and resources to diverse needs and maintain continuity of learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure smooth transitions during absences.
• Provide feedback on student progress and maintain accurate records as required.
