Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a committed Supply Primary Teacher to cover day-to-day needs in Romford, Essex. You will deliver engaging lessons, follow school plans and maintain a safe, well-managed classroom to ensure continuity of learning.

The role offers flexible day-to-day supply with hours from 08:30 to 16:00 and a competitive daily rate. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced primary teachers to gain experience across different schools while maintaining work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally at Key Stage 2.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt to new classrooms, pupils and school routines.
• Reliable, flexible and confident delivering lessons independently.
• Genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum, following plans.
• Maintain a positive, safe and well-managed classroom environment.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learners' needs.
• Support pupils’ academic progress, engagement and wellbeing.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure smooth transitions between regular teachers and supply cover.
• Liaise with school staff to ensure continuity of learning throughout the day.
