Job summary

Step Teachers in Burwell is seeking Primary Supply Teachers to deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 on a flexible, short-term basis. Roles start as soon as possible and involve working in various school settings while maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, has experience across primary key stages, and is flexible, adaptable, and committed to safeguarding pupil welfare. DBS via Update Service or willingness to obtain one is expected.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has primary teaching experience across KS1/KS2.
• Flexible and adaptable to new environments.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Follow school policies and adapt to different classroom settings.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Manage behaviour effectively and support pupil well-being.
• Liaise with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
• Mark work and provide feedback where required.
