Job description

Primary Supply Teacher – Flexible, short-term roles available starting as soon as possible. These flexible opportunities are ideal for Primary Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. Working on a supply basis allows you to experience a range of classroom environments while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance. Roles are available in Burwell and the surrounding areas, with immediate starts.

Duties as Primary Supply Teacher:

• Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Follow school policies and adapt to different classroom settings
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Manage behaviour effectively and support pupil well‑being
• Liaise with school staff to ensure continuity of learning
• Mark work and provide feedback where required

Ideal Primary Supply Teacher:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in primary schools across various key stages
• Flexible, adaptable and confident in new environments
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
