Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking reliable and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of schools in Shirebrook and surrounding areas. Flexible full-time and part-time roles with days to long-term bookings across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

You will deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain classroom routines, and adapt quickly to different schools while ensuring pupils stay engaged. QTS with DBS and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Enhanced DBS and suitable references.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Comprehensive employment history covering the previous 10 years where possible.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across the Primary National Curriculum.
• Maintain positive behaviour and established classroom routines.
• Adapting quickly to different schools, classes and year groups.
• Providing feedback and marking work in line with school expectations.
• Supporting pupils with differing abilities and additional needs.
• Working effectively with Teaching Assistants and other school staff.
• Following school safeguarding and behaviour policies.
