Step Teachers is seeking a Primary Supply Teacher to cover day-to-day placements across EYFS to KS2 in Chatteris and surrounding areas. You will deliver engaging lessons, adapt planned schemes where needed, and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom.

This role suits a confident, flexible educator with QTS who can establish rapport with pupils and staff, manage behaviour consistently, and provide timely feedback. Weekly PAYE pay, safeguarding checks apply.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Confident teaching across the primary age range.
• Strong classroom management and adaptability.
• Reliable, flexible, and professional as a Primary School Teacher.
• Able to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff.
• Experience in primary settings preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 as required.
• Follow school planning or adapt lessons to suit pupil needs.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Mark work and provide feedback where required.
• Liaise with school staff to ensure smooth handovers.
