Job summary

Teach Now is seeking Daily Supply Teachers to cover primary classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in Hertfordshire for the new academic year. The role offers flexible part-time hours and temporary contracts with days you choose.

Responsibilities include delivering pre-planned lessons, building positive relationships with pupils, maintaining classroom routines and providing feedback to the permanent teacher. DBS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• UK QTS required.
• Recent primary teaching or placement experience.
• Sound knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management.
• Professional, flexible and reliable approach.
• ECTs with strong placement experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Quickly establish positive relationships with pupils.
• Maintain classroom routines and high expectations for behaviour.
• Adapt confidently to different school environments.
• Leave clear feedback for the permanent class teacher.
