Locums First is seeking Locum Healthcare Assistants to work in Stoke-sub-hamdon across community clinics, GP surgeries and wider primary care. You will support patient assessments, perform routine clinical tasks and help maintain a smooth clinic environment, with shifts flexible to your schedule.

Key responsibilities include basic observations, ECGs, phlebotomy if trained, patient education and updating notes. DBS enhanced is required; a range of weekday/evening/weekend shifts may be available.

Qualifications

• Experience working as an HCA in primary care, community or NHS settings.
• Phlebotomy skills beneficial.
• Confident in carrying out standardised clinical tasks.
• Strong communication and time-management abilities.
• Comfortable adapting to new clinical environments.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsabilités

• Conduct basic patient observations including BP, pulse and temperature.
• Support routine treatment room procedures.
• Carry out ECGs and basic health checks.
• Perform phlebotomy if trained.
• Assist with patient education and lifestyle advice.
• Update clinical notes accurately in service systems.
• Provide general clinical support to nurses and GPs.
