Job summary

Locums First is seeking Locum Healthcare Assistants for flexible shifts across community clinics, GP surgeries and primary care services in Muirs. You will support patient assessments, perform routine clinical tasks and keep clinic workflows efficient in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working as an HCA in primary care, community or NHS settings.
• Phlebotomy skills beneficial.
• Confident in carrying out standardised clinical tasks.
• Strong communication and time-management abilities.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic patient observations (BP, pulse and temperature).
• Support routine treatment room procedures.
• Carry out ECGs and basic health checks.
• Perform phlebotomy if trained.
• Educate patients on lifestyle and health.
• Update clinical notes accurately in service systems.
• Provide general clinical support to nurses and GPs.
