Job summary

BCL Legal is recruiting a Claimant Personal Injury Solicitor for their Leeds City Centre office. You will manage a portfolio of claims (predominantly EL/PL, with RTA and disease where relevant) and progress from instruction to settlement with a strong focus on client care and efficiency.

Qualifications

1-7 years PQE solicitor or equivalent experience.
Draft legal documents including MOJ Portal submissions, witness statements, loss schedules, and correspondence.
Liaise with clients, medical professionals and third parties.
Conduct legal research and stay updated on personal injury law and procedures.
Strong experience in managing caseloads independently.
Solid litigation experience; EL and PL experience desirable.
Excellent client care, negotiation and communication skills.
Familiarity with the MOJ Pre Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules.

Responsibilities

Manage and proactively progress your own portfolio of claims (EL/PL, RTA and disease) from instruction to settlement.
Run cases from inception to settlement, replying to client and party correspondence.
Own caseloads of pre- and post-litigation EL/PL and RTA files with focus on quality client care and efficient progression.
