Job summary

Cape Clarke is recruiting a Senior EL/PL Lawyer for its Leeds office on a hybrid basis. You will manage a caseload of Employer's Liability and Public Liability claims, predominantly Fast Track, with some Intermediate/Multi‑Track work, while working independently within a collaborative team.

Open to qualified solicitors or experienced non‑qualified lawyers who bring EL/PL experience, strong technical ability and excellent client‑facing skills.

Qualifications

• Experience handling Employer's Liability and Public Liability litigation.
• Experience managing Fast Track claims and exposure to Intermediate/Multi-Track work.
• Strong technical ability and case management skills.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.

I'm currently working with a growing personal injury practice that is looking to appoint a Senior EL/PL Lawyer to join its expanding litigation team in Leeds.

This opportunity would suit either a qualified solicitor or an experienced non‑qualified lawyer who is looking to join a business with genuine growth plans, excellent quality work and clear opportunities for progression.

The Role

You will manage a caseload of litigated Employer's Liability and Public Liability claims, consisting predominantly of Fast Track matters together with some Intermediate Track and Multi‑Track work.

You will be trusted to run your own caseload while working as part of a supportive and experienced litigation team.

About You

• Previous EL/PL litigation experience
• Experience handling litigated Fast Track claims
• Exposure to Intermediate Track and/or Multi‑Track work
• Strong technical ability and case management skills
