Job summary

SDR Group is seeking a Peripatetic Support Worker to join our team across East Sussex, mainly Eastbourne and Hailsham. You will provide flexible staffing support across bespoke and residential services, assisting individuals with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs.

With a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, you will travel to different SDR services for allocated shifts, offering person-centred support, promoting independence and building positive relationships

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support is desirable.
• A full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Willingness to travel across East Sussex.
• Compassionate, patient and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support across bespoke and residential services.
• Support daily routines and promote independence.
• Build positive relationships with people we support.
• Assist with activities, appointments and community outings.
• Support with personal care where required.
