Job summary

Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking a Lecturer in Pathways for a flexible hours role at Salisbury campuses. You will deliver engaging Pathways programmes and tailor activities to support learners with diverse needs.

With a focus on independence, employability and life skills, you will plan personalised learning and guide learners toward recognised qualifications where appropriate. A supportive team environment fosters professional development.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification at Level 3 or above in Education, SEND, Health & Social Care or related subject.
• Experience working with young people and/or adults with SEND, EHCPs or barriers to learning.
• Teaching qualifications welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive Pathways programmes for a range of learning needs.
• Plan and deliver personalised activities to develop independence and employability.
• Support learners to achieve individual targets and qualifications where appropriate.
• Create a positive, safe learning environment that promotes confidence and progression.
• Work with support staff, parents/carers and external agencies to maximise outcomes.
• Maintain high safeguarding, health, safety, equality, diversity and professional practice.
