Job summary

Pertemps Redditch Commercial is seeking a part-time Management Accountant on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. Based in Bromsgrove, the role requires ownership of management accounts across multiple entities and delivering accurate reporting on a pro rata basis.

The ideal candidate will have ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent, strong technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to work autonomously with tight deadlines. Flexible hours and a supportive finance team are offered.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• 1) Experience producing management accounts in a commercial/group environment.
• 2) Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• 3) Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
• 4) Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• 5) Strong communication skills and stakeholder relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple entities.
• 1) Support consolidated reporting and group financial reporting requirements.
• 2) Produce financial analysis, reports and commentary to aid decision‑making.
• 3) Investigate variances and identify key trends and insights.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure records are accurate.
• 5) Monitor balance sheet movements and flag issues.
• 6) Liaise with stakeholders to provide financial support and information.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Support audit requirements and statutory reporting processes.
• Contribute to finance process improvements and efficiencies.
