Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting for a part-time Management Accountant on a six-month fixed-term contract in Bromsgrove. The role focuses on producing management accounts across multiple entities, with flexible 15–20 hour weeks and pro rata salary.

The ideal candidate will hold ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent, demonstrate strong technical accounting skills, and be capable of autonomous delivery within a busy finance environment.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification, part qualification, or qualified by experience.
• Experience producing management accounts within a commercial or group environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Experience working across multiple entities or business units would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple entities.
• Support consolidated reporting and group financial reporting requirements.
• Produce financial analysis, reports and commentary to support decision-making.
• Investigate variances and identify key trends and insights.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure records are accurate.
• Monitor balance sheet movements and highlight significant issues.
• Liaise with stakeholders to provide financial support and information.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Support audit requirements and statutory reporting processes.
• Contribute to finance process improvements and efficiencies.
