Tate is recruiting a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join a friendly, well-established team in Dorking. The role offers flexibility around childcare, family commitments, or other interests, with 20-25 hours per week and pro rata salary.

You will manage bookkeeping for a portfolio of SMEs and sole traders, prepare VAT returns, and support month-end and year-end processes. A strong knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks and Excel is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Previous bookkeeping experience.
• Experience preparing end-of-month and year-end accounts.
• Confident preparing and submitting VAT returns.
• Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Aufgaben

• Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of small to medium-sized businesses and sole traders.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
• Preparing end-of-month and year-end accounts.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Supporting clients with day-to-day finance queries.
• Liaising with accountants and clients where required.
