Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Stockport is seeking 1:1 tutors to support children in care and those with SEN across Maths, English and Science for part-time sessions. Flexible locations include students' homes, online, care homes, or libraries, with after-school options and school-day slots.

Ideal candidates have QTS/QTLS preferred, a degree in the tutoring subject, and experience with SEMH/LAC is advantageous. Competitive pay starts at £25 per hour with ongoing part-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS preferred.
• Minimum of degree level in tuition subject.
• Experience working with Students with SEMH or LAC would be advantageous.
• Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.
• A positive attitude and desire.
• The ability to engage and motivate students whilst making learning fun.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 tuition to students in care or with SEN.
• Cover core subjects: Maths, English and Science across key stages.
• Deliver sessions in venues including home, online, care settings, libraries or community centres.
