Class Act is recruiting a Nursery Practitioner to support 0–5s across Wantage and surrounding areas. You will help plan and deliver EYFS-aligned activities, support children's wellbeing, and foster a caring, inclusive environment.

This flexible role offers short-term and longer-term placements with weekly PAYE pay and access to exclusive deals. Training and safeguarding checks are part of the process to ensure high standards in education recruitment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children in nursery or early years settings.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
• Ability to build positive, nurturing relationships with children.
• Creative, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Adaptable across different routines, age groups, and environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of stimulating, age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Assist with the care, supervision, and well-being of children aged 0–5.
• Help create safe, inclusive, and developmentally rich environments.
• Encourage children’s social, emotional, and physical development.
• Contribute to observations and maintain learning records when required.
• Support children with personal care needs as appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with early years staff and contribute to daily routines during longer term placements.
