Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting Nursery Practitioners for Sutton Coldfield. You will support children aged 0-5 with high-quality care, education and development in a nurturing environment.

This role offers flexibility across full-time and part-time shifts in diverse nursery settings. Ideal candidates hold Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare, possess strong communication skills, and are passionate about safeguarding and child welfare.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience in Early Years settings is preferred.
• Paediatric First Aid is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 in line with EYFS.
• Provide high-quality care in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Create engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Plan and participate in activities that support development across social, emotional, physical and cognitive domains.
• Recognise and respond to each child's individual needs and interests.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence, communication and social skills.
• Assist with planning and delivering activities that promote learning and development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Follow safeguarding procedures to promote welfare.
