Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Flexible Nursery Practitioners across Birmingham and surrounding areas to support a variety of nurseries. You can choose when and where you work, with 1–2 days a week, extra shifts, or regular full-time hours available.

You will support children aged 0–5, deliver activities aligned with EYFS, and help create a safe, nurturing environment. Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare is required, along with experience and a caring, reliable approach.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• A caring, enthusiastic and reliable approach.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding.
• Flexibility and confidence working across different settings.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 0–5 with their learning, development and daily routines.
• Deliver fun and engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Create a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment.
• Work alongside experienced nursery teams.
• Adapt confidently to different nursery settings.
