Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking qualified Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioners for flexible supply work across Birmingham and surrounding areas. Start ASAP with opportunity to choose when and where you work.

You will support children aged 0-5 in nurseries, delivering play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework, and collaborate with nursery teams. Eligibility includes Level 2/3 in Early Years or Childcare, DBS and right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or equivalent (essential).
• Previous experience in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Good understanding of EYFS framework and child development.
• Caring, enthusiastic, reliable with excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences.
• Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
• Assist with daily routines, including meals, naps, and outdoor play.
• Encourage children's social, emotional, and communication development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment.
• Work collaboratively with nursery teams to provide high-quality care and education.
