Job summary

N Family Club in Harborne, Birmingham is seeking a Flexi Chef to prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for children in our nursery. You will work with a team to deliver nutritious meals, manage dietary needs and maintain a high standard of kitchen hygiene.

Qualifications

• Must have Food Safety and Hygiene Level 2 (will be required to complete Level 3 during induction if not already held)

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh and inspiring food for our children, with occasional weekends
• Follow our nutritionist-designed recipes and menu to ensure each child receives vitamins and nutrients
• Cater to different dietary needs and allergies while following guidelines
• Maintain kitchen paperwork and daily hygiene schedules
• Order and manage food supplies and stock rotation
• Ensure a 5 star Food Hygiene standard and compliance with EH regulations
• Mentor nursery apprentices as required
• Ensure proper handover of meals with accurate allergy information and portions
