Job summary

Empowering Learning, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking Nursery Agency Workers to support nurseries across Cambridge. You will have the flexibility to choose days and hours each week, caring for children aged 0-5 and assisting with activities, safety, and development.

The role offers flexible working arrangements, opportunities to gain experience in different nursery settings, and ongoing support from the Empowering Learning team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a nursery, school or similar setting.
• Passion for working with young children and helping them thrive.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance available).
• Relevant childcare qualification for qualified rate.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support for children aged 0-5 years.
• Assist with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to promote development.
• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Support children during meals and snack times, and assist with personal care if required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment.
• Work collaboratively with nursery staff and follow the nursery's policies and procedures.
• Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
