Job summary

Empowering Learning is recruiting Nursery Agency Workers to cover various nurseries in Cheltenham. The role offers flexible days and hours, supporting children aged 0-5, assisting with activities, meal times and personal care where needed. An enhanced DBS and childcare qualification are required for the higher pay rate.

You’ll work across different settings, gain wide experience, and receive ongoing support from the Empowering Learning team to ensure safeguarding and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a nursery, school, or similar setting.
• Passion for working with young children.
• Good communication and a positive attitude.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance available).
• Childcare qualification required for qualified pay rate.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support for children aged 0-5.
• Assist with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
• Supervise and ensure safety at all times.
• Support during meals and personal care if required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment.
• Work with nursery staff and follow policies and procedures.
• Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
