Job summary

Empowering Learning in Cheltenham is seeking enthusiastic Nursery Agency Workers to join our team on a flexible basis, letting you pick your days and hours each week and work across various nurseries in your area. You will provide care for children aged 0-5, assist with activities, supervise safety, support meals and personal care if needed, and help maintain a clean, stimulating environment.

Experience in nurseries or schools, good communication, and a DBS check are required; the role offers

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a nursery, school, or similar setting.
• Passion for working with young children and helping them thrive.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Enhanced DBS check (we can assist you with this if needed).
• Relevant childcare qualification (for qualified pay rate).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support for children aged 0-5 years.
• Assist with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to promote development.
• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Support children during meal and snack times, and assist with personal care if required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment.
• Work collaboratively with nursery staff and follow the nursery's policies and procedures.
